What data are we recording?

You sell or rent your property

If you engage us as an estate agent when selling or renting out your property, our estate agent office will record the following information:

– your name, address and contact details such as your telephone number and e-mail address

– the reason for the sale or rental, e.g. increased residence or change of job

– the date of notification of the property and the period during which the property is or has been for sale or for rent

– the description and characteristics of the property such as the asking price or rent, the year of construction, the surface areas and layout, cadastral data and the WOZ value

– Images such as photos and videos of the object

– the reason for a possible withdrawal of the conciliation mandate

– when the property has been sold or let: the transaction details such as the sale or rental price and the transaction date

– other information you provide to us

 

You are looking for another object

When you engage us as an estate agent when purchasing or renting an object or when you make a viewing of an object, our estate agent can record the following data:

– your name, address and contact details such as your telephone number and e-mail address

– the search profile in which your wishes regarding an object are included

– information about your current property such as the reason for purchase or rent, for example, larger residence or change of employment

– your age and income category and family composition

– when you have bought or rented a property: the transaction details such as the purchase or rental price and the transaction date

– other information you provide to us

 

You buy or rent an object from someone who uses our brokerage office.

If you have bought or rented an object and the seller or landlord has been assisted by our brokerage office, then our brokerage office can record the following information:

– your name, address and contact details such as your telephone number and email address

– information about the property you have bought or rented, such as the address, characteristics of the property, the purchase or rental price and the transaction date.

– the reason for purchase or rental

– your age and income category and family composition

– information about your old property such as the purchase or rental price

– other information you provide to us

 

What does our brokerage office use these details for?

You sell or rent your property or you are looking for another property.

 Our brokerage office uses your details to carry out the mediation assignment you have given us. Your details may also be used:

– To bring your property to the attention of the public, for example on Pararius, on the website of our brokerage firm or in sales brochures.

– to carry out valuations and other valuations (your property is only used as a reference property)

– to carry out analyses and reports so that our brokerage firm can improve its services

– to send information about products and services from our brokerage office; if you wish to unsubscribe, please contact us.

 

You are looking for another property

When you use our brokerage office when purchasing or renting an object or when you make a viewing of an object. Your data can also be used:

– to send information about other objects

– to carry out analyses and reports so that we can improve our services

– for drawing up formal documents; deed of purchase, contract of sale, (OTD) Assignment of services or Valuation report

 

You buy or rent an object from someone who uses the services of our brokerage firm

Our brokerage office uses your details to maintain contact with you, for example to send you the purchase agreement. Your data can also be used:

– for advisory purposes, if you have requested it

– to carry out analyses and reports so that we can improve our services

– for drawing up formal documents; deed of purchase, contract of sale, (OTD) Assignment of services or Valuation report

Security and retention period

Our brokerage office ensures that your data is adequately secured so that your data is protected against unauthorised use, unauthorised access, alteration and unlawful destruction. Your data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations and to resolve any disputes.

Access, correction and deletion

Requests for inspection, correction or deletion of data should be addressed to our brokerage office, stating your name and address. In principle, our brokerage office will respond to a request for inspection or correction within four weeks. In the event of a request for removal, our brokerage office will remove the personal details in question as soon as possible, unless and to the extent that the law obliges you to keep the personal details in question or there are (other) urgent reasons that oppose removal.
